Heat Treatment Supervisor / Incharge Required at Forging Plant - Dankuni

? Qualification : Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical

? Location : Dankuni

?? Duty : 8 hrs.

Key Responsibilities:

# Process oversight : Plan, schedule, and supervise heat treatment processes like hardening, tempering, annealing, carburizing

# Quality control: Ensure parts meet hardness, microstructure, and metallurgical specs. Check charts, hardness tests, and reports

# Team management : Lead furnace operators and technicians. Assign work, train staff, enforce safety SOPs

# Equipment management : Monitor furnace health, preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime

# Documentation: Maintain heat treatment records, process parameters, lot traceability, and compliance with ISO/IATF/AMS standards

# Troubleshooting: Analyze process deviations, rework issues, and implement corrective actions

# Safety & compliance: Enforce PPE, hazardous material handling, and environmental norms

Skills Needed:

~ Strong knowledge of metallurgy, heat treatment cycles, and pyrometry

~ Experience with furnaces : sealed quench, pit, box, vacuum, or induction

~ Understanding of quality standards like AMS2750, CQI-9

~ Leadership, problem solving, and data analysis skills

~ Diploma/Degree in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering usually preferred
